Avoid Silence

Instead of a prompt resolution, some mistakes are followed by silence, a cold shoulder of sorts. This is not good. Instead, work things out quickly. If an apology is in order, there is no time like the present.

Remember that talking is almost always better than silence. Talking can develop an understanding and clear up most problems. Silence just keeps your partner guessing.

Talking may seem uncomfortable at first but in the long run your relationship will be better because you discussed problems openly and in a reasonable and respectful manner.
